5. Tus opciones
- Si no usás comandos

Privacy Policy
Albion Battle (albionbattle.com) is a community killboard for the game Albion Online (kills, deaths, ZvZ battles and statistics), together with the Albion Battle Discord bot. This page explains what data we collect on the website and through the bot, why we use it, how long we keep it, and what choices you have.
1. Website
Most of the data we show (kills, guilds, alliances, battles) comes from the public Albion Online API, not from you. About website visitors we only collect the minimum we need:
- Standard server data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security, performance and abuse detection.
- Browser localStorage (stored on your device): a random anonymous ID for reacting to kills and battles, your preferred language and your favorite guilds.
- Login with Discord (optional, only for /user-panel/ and /panel/): Discord shares your user ID, username, avatar and the servers where you can manage the bot. We never see your password or your private messages.
- Google Analytics: to measure how many people visit the site and which pages they use. It may use Google cookies (Google Privacy Policy).
2. The “Albion Battle” Discord bot
The bot only works in Discord servers where an admin added it, and only with the features that server set up.
Message content
- The bot reads a message only to detect whether it is meant for the bot: commands that start with
!(such as!check,!bal,!topor the server's custom commands), and the numbers members type inside roster threads created with/pvpto sign up for a role. - Every other message is ignored right away. We do not store or log message content. We only keep the result of an action (for example, “this user took slot 3 of the roster”).
- Tickets: when a ticket is closed, the bot builds a transcript of the channel and sends it to that server's own Discord log channel. The transcript stays on Discord, not on our servers.
- We do not use message content to train AI or machine learning models, or for any other purpose.
Server members
The bot uses the member list of the servers where it is installed only for these guild-management features:
/registerverification: links your Discord account to your Albion Online character and gives you the guild roles. The bot regularly checks with the Albion Online API that you are still in the guild; if you left, it removes those roles.- Nicknames: on servers that enable it, the bot keeps your nickname equal to your in-game name (plus any text the admins add with
/regear). - Admin panel: server admins can see which members have the guild role without being verified.
What data the bot stores
- Verification: your Discord user ID, your Albion character name and ID, your guild, the roles the bot gave you and the dates. On some servers, also the role you chose and the
/regeartext. /pvprosters: which user ID signed up for each slot, so the roster keeps working in its thread.- Economy (
!bal): the balance of each user ID. - Server settings: server, channel and role IDs chosen by the admins in our panel.
We do not store passwords, private messages, payment data or email addresses. We do not use anyone's presence status (online, playing…).
3. Who we share data with
We do not sell or share personal data with anyone. The only third parties involved are the services we use to operate:
- Discord: login and running the bot.
- Albion Online (Sandbox Interactive): we query their public API with the character name to verify it.
- Google Analytics: website analytics.
- Cloudflare: proxy/CDN in front of our server, for security and speed.
4. Where and how long we keep data
Data is stored on our own private server (OVH, Canada), accessible only to the Albion Battle administrators and behind Cloudflare.
- Verification: while you stay verified on that server. If you leave the guild or an admin removes you, your verification is deleted; only a short “left the guild” record remains, visible to that server's admins.
- Rosters, economy and settings: while the server uses the bot, or until deletion is requested.
- Web panel sessions: expire automatically after 7 days.
- Kill and battle statistics (public Albion Online data): kept indefinitely, like any killboard.
5. Your choices
- If you don't use
!commands or sign up in rosters, the bot does not process anything you write. - Server admins can limit which channels the bot can read with normal Discord permissions, or remove the bot at any time.
- You can ask an admin of your server to remove your verification from the panel.
- You can ask us to delete any data linked to your account through our support Discord (see Contact).
- You can clear the site's localStorage in your browser and log out of the panel at any time.
6. Children
The website and the bot are not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age Discord requires in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this page when we add or change a feature. The “Last updated” date shows the most recent change.
